Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Calcuma ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Calculations stay in your browser
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The values you enter — steps, height, weight, age and so on — are used to compute a result on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers.
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are popular and how the site is performing, in aggregate. This may involve cookies or similar technologies and basic technical data such as your approximate region, device type and the pages you visit. It is not used to personally identify you.
Advertising
We may display advertising to keep the calculators free. Third-party advertising partners (for example, Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and, where applicable, to personalize them based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits. You can learn about and manage ad personalization in your Google account settings and via the controls these vendors provide.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our partners may use them for analytics and advertising as described above. Our full Cookie Policy lists the categories of cookies in detail. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings or via the cookie banner shown on first visit; doing so may affect how some features work.
Your rights (GDPR — European users)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not collect identifying personal data directly, most of these rights apply to data held by our advertising and analytics partners, which you can manage through their controls (see Cookie Policy). To make a request relating to data we may hold about you, email us at contact@calcuma.com.
Your rights (CCPA — California users)
Residents of California have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act to know what personal information is collected, to access and delete it, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" — including the sharing involved in personalized advertising. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any CCPA right, contact us at contact@calcuma.com. You can also manage advertising controls via Google's Ad Center linked in our Cookie Policy.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no universal standard for how sites should respond, so we currently do not change behavior based on this signal — but you can manage advertising and analytics cookies via our consent banner and browser settings.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
External links
Our pages may link to external sources and references. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above.
